Home Improvement Angel

We took out a closet and a pantry in the kitchen. This picture is of a wall that needed to come down and I had given it a few random whacks with the hammer. And....this was the result. I think it looks like an angel. Sure...sort of a tired and downtrodden angel...but still....an angel.

Now this wall is out of there and we did rewire the light switch and plugin with a little help from cousin Randy. I am in the process of taping the dry wall seams and will need to get on to mudding soon.

You might wonder why an angel appeared here. This next picture of John should answer that question...

Yep. That is John. Standing on a stool, which is on top of a chair, so that he can try to detach the closet wall from the kitchen wall. Yes. We do own a ladder. A good one. It just wasn't handy at the moment I guess.

Did you see that forward a while back entitled "Why Women Live Longer Than Men"? This picture could have totally been included. This is the very wall that the wall angel was hammered out of and so now we all know his mission and also why he looks so fatigued. :) And if we could see this angel in motion....he was probably shaking his head.
